Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leading UK manufacturing group are currently seeking a detail orientated Procurement Specialist to join their exciting procurement function.

This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work from one of the company''s many sites situated across West Molesey, Dudley, Swindon, Crawley, and Reading.

• Role: Procurement Specialist
• Salary: Up to -40,000 + benefits (DOE)
• Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days)
• Locations: West Molesey, Dudley, Swindon, Crawley, and Reading

As a Procurement Specialist, you''ll focus on both direct and indirect procurement, drive cost-saving initiatives, and build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships across the business.

• Develop and deliver annual sourcing plans for the UK, in agreement with the UK Head of Procurement
• Map Direct/Indirect spend data for the group and support wider group mapping processes
• Forecast, track, and report cost-saving initiatives monthly
• Negotiate terms and conditions for goods and services supplier contracts, ensuring timely agreements
• Ensure all procurement activities align with the overall Procurement Corporate Strategy.

You''ll play a key role in delivering procurement strategies, managing supplier performance, and supporting multi-site projects.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Proficiency in category and spend analysis, and cost optimisation
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and influence at senior levels.
