Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leading UK manufacturing group are currently seeking a detail orientated Procurement Specialist to join their exciting procurement function.
This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work from one of the company''s many sites situated across West Molesey, Dudley, Swindon, Crawley, and Reading.
- Role: Procurement Specialist
- Salary: Up to -40,000 + benefits (DOE)
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days)
- Locations: West Molesey, Dudley, Swindon, Crawley, and Reading
As a Procurement Specialist, you''ll focus on both direct and indirect procurement, drive cost-saving initiatives, and build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver annual sourcing plans for the UK, in agreement with the UK Head of Procurement
- Map Direct/Indirect spend data for the group and support wider group mapping processes
- Forecast, track, and report cost-saving initiatives monthly
- Negotiate terms and conditions for goods and services supplier contracts, ensuring timely agreements
- Ensure all procurement activities align with the overall Procurement Corporate Strategy.
You''ll play a key role in delivering procurement strategies, managing supplier performance, and supporting multi-site projects.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Proficiency in category and spend analysis, and cost optimisation
- Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and influence at senior levels.
