Procurement SpecialistLocation: South Oxford Reports to: Senior Commercial Lead Salary: 38k - 50kAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to deliver high quality procurement and commercial support across the organisation. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will influence strategic and contractual decisions, often across projects exceeding 1m.You will lead end to end procurements, ensure compliance with public sector regulations, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. You will also help shape commercial policies, improve processes, and support junior team members.This role offers strong autonomy and the opportunity to drive best practice across procurement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end to end tenders from scoping through to contract award and implementationProvide procurement and commercial advice to stakeholdersEnsure compliance with public sector regulations and internal policiesSupport contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing managementIdentify and manage procurement and commercial risksSupport delivery of major projects and procurement workstreamsImprove procurement processes and ways of workingBuild supplier relationships and support performance managementProvide guidance and support to stakeholders and junior team membersEmbed sustainability and social value into procurement activityExperience and SkillsStrong experience in public sector procurement and contract managementExperience managing the full procurement ..... full job details .....
