Procurement Projects Officer

Location: Near ChippenhamContract: Temporary, 6-9 months 37 hours per week across core hours hybrid working after initial settling in period We are seeking a proactive Procurement Projects Specialist to support a busy Procurement function during a period of transformation, focussing on the delivery and coordination of procurement-related process improvement and KPI-driven projects.You will manage project delivery, reporting and stakeholder coordination, allowing commodity teams to focus on specialist strategic and operational procurement activity.This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement or supply chain professional with strong project delivery capability to gain exposure to high-impact transformation projects with key project areas including: Project Delivery, Coordination and ReportingLead and coordinate defined procurement process improvement and KPI-related projects in line with approved business casesMaintain project plans, timelines, trackers and governance documentationMonitor milestones, outcomes and risks, escalating issues that may be impactedStakeholder and Resource CoordinationCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Planning and external suppliersManage and direct additional temporary resource, including interns and graduate team membersAchieved Lead Time ReductionCoordinate and track supplier communication activities focused on lead time reductionMaintain project planner cards and supporting ..... full job details .....
