Procurement ProfessionalGlascoed OR Preston Based 32.18 per Umbrella Inside IR35 12 Month Contract initially. This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK''s leading Defence organisations based In Glascoed or Preston depending on which location is best suited. Hybrid working 2-3 days per week on site Working as a member of the business, sector or group procurement team to provide procurement expertise, services and support to meet the operational needs of the business.Undertake a support role bringing a depth of expertise in a specific area and technical knowledge which has been developed through on the job experience and / or externally recognised qualificationsWill coordinate the work of others to ensure outcomes are deliveredHave a good understanding of procedures within own area, and may resolve issues using own judgement within well-defined practices and precedenceThese roles normally manage a larger or more complex order book, supplier or contract. Knowledge:Likely to have 3 years experience working within a procurement environment and/orPossess a good standard of procurement competence in key areas of Sourcing, process knowledge, contracting skills and supplier management.Demonstrate good business acumen. Skills:Works on own initiative with limited supervision and with responsibility for delivery, escalating concerns.
