The company operate worldwide across a range of sectors within Manufacturing and Engineering, and as a result of their ongoing success, they are continuing to grow their team.

The day to day of this role includes managing supplier relationships, overseeing procurement strategy, ensuring materials and services are delivered on time in full, and driving cost reduction initiatives. You will also be responsible for ERP system management, supplier performance, and supporting production and engineering teams. This role includes occasional national and international travel.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in procurement within a manufacturing environment, experience using ERP systems, and proven leadership or supervisory experience. A CIPS qualification is highly advantageous but not essential.

The role:

• Procurement Manager
• Managing purchasing and stores teams
• Working cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality
• Monday - Friday (8am-4pm, 1pm finish on Fridays)
• Occasional national and international travel

The person:

• Strong procurement background within manufacturing
• Experience with ERP systems and supplier management
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• CIPS qualification highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Willing to travel
