One of London''s most vital transport operations are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Soft FM Procurement team within a major London transport organisation.Role: Procurement OfficerDuration: 4 - 6 month contractPay: Up to 360 p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)Location: London (2 / 3 days onsite)This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of procurement activity covering areas including cleaning, security, uniforms, hazardous materials, labour contracts, licences and other facilities-related services.Key Responsibilities:Managing end-to-end procurement exercises from inception through to awardRunning competitions through public-sector frameworks and the open marketDeveloping and reviewing tender and procurement documentationManaging procurement timelines and governance approvalsEvaluating supplier submissions and undertaking commercial assessmentsWorking closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and determine appropriate procurement solutionsLiaising with suppliers throughout procurement exercisesSupporting contract and supplier engagement where requiredEnsuring compliance with procurement legislation, governance requirements and internal processesUtilising e-procurement systems, including SAP AribaThis is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of procurement activity covering areas including cleaning, security, uniforms, hazardous materials, labour contracts, licences and other facilities-related ..... full job details .....
