The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic procurement plans, leading complex tenders, and driving value for money across major spend areas.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of strategic procurement plans and complex procurement projects.Manage large-scale tendering exercises and commercial initiatives from inception through to contract award.Advise senior stakeholders on the most appropriate procurement and market engagement strategies.Drive value for money, commercial innovation, and service improvement across housing-related spend areas.Ensure compliance with Public Procurement Regulations, council policies, and governance requirements.Promote and embed Social Value, Environmental Sustainability, and Modern Slavery considerations within procurement activity.Build effective relationships with internal departments, suppliers, partners, and elected members.Lead and support procurement staff, providing ..... full job details .....
