Procurement ManagerLeeds 3 monthsHybrid 200per day Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a well-established public sector organisation based in Leeds on an initial 3-month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional with a strong background within the public sector to join a busy procurement function and provide immediate support across a range of procurement activity.Key responsibilities;As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing procurement exercises from initial requirement through to contract awardProviding professional procurement advice and guidance to stakeholdersDeveloping appropriate sourcing and procurement strategiesSupporting tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract award processesEnsuring procurement activity is undertaken in accordance with relevant public sector procurement requirements and internal governanceEngaging effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliersIdentifying opportunities to achieve value for money and improve commercial outcomesSupporting contract and supplier management activity where requiredMaintaining accurate procurement documentation and appropriate audit trailsManaging competing priorities within a fast-paced procurement environmentKnowledge and Skills;Ideally with a minimum of 5 years'' procurement experience within a public sector organisationStrong experience of managing end-to-end procurement ..... full job details .....
