We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Consultant with a proven track record of delivering procurement excellence in complex environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or commercial roles and must already hold active Security Clearance (SC).You will support a variety of procurement and commercial activities across major programmes within the public sector, defence, or secure government domains.Key Responsibilities:Lead or support end-to-end procurement processes in compliance with public sector regulations (e.g., PCR 2015).Develop procurement strategies, tender documentation, evaluation criteria, and contracts.Engage and manage stakeholders across commercial, technical, legal, and operational teams.Conduct supplier market analysis, risk assessments, and contract negotiations.Ensure value for money and compliance with organisational and legislative standards.Provide advice on sourcing strategies, procurement policies, and contract management.Support commercial assurance activities and governance processes.Requirements:Active SC Clearance (Security Check) – essentialMinimum 5 years of procurement/commercial experience, ideally within the public sector, defence, or secure government environments.Strong understanding of UK Public Procurement Regulations (e.g., PCR 2015, DSPCR).Demonstrated experience in managing complex tenders and contracts.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and e-procurement tools (e.g., Jaggaer, Bravo, Delta).Relevant qualifications such as MCIPS or equivalent – desirable.Seniority level
