Procurement Manager Cardiff £48,000 + Benefits Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Cardiff. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing both Procurement and Stores operations while ensuring the efficient, cost-effective and compliant supply of materials, goods and services to support a busy operational environment. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, Planning and Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in driving supplier performance, commercial value, inventory control and continuous improvement across the business. What you''ll be doing: Lead, coach and develop the Procurement and Stores teams, creating a high-performing culture. Develop and implement procurement and category strategies that deliver value and support business objectives. Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations and contract performance. Ensure the timely availability of materials, goods and services to support production and customer commitments. Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in cost, quality and delivery. Analyse spend, procurement and inventory data to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Oversee supplier approval, audit and compliance activities. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Planning and Finance.
