Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Procurement Manager. The Role This is a key role, working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Quality, with responsibility for supplier performance, cost reduction, material availability and supporting the overall competitiveness and profitability of the business. Leading and managing the Purchasing team and wider purchasing activities. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with business and customer requirements. Managing procurement of direct and indirect materials. Sourcing, negotiating and managing suppliers across cost, quality, delivery and service. Driving supplier cost reduction, value engineering and continuous improvement. Managing supplier performance, audits and development. Working closely with Planning to ensure material availability and production continuity. Supporting inventory optimisation and working capital improvement.
