We have a fantastic 12-month contract opportunity in Glascoed. As an integral part of our team, you will be accountable for leading a team of professionals, managing complex projects, and driving procurement solutions that directly contribute to our business''s financial performance and strategic goals.This is a senior-level role that requires you to work independently with minimal guidance. You will be responsible for a critical work package with a high value and high volume of orders.Core Responsibilities
Lead a Team: Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle workload and priorities.End-to-End Procurement: Take full accountability for the source-to-pay process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and order management.Strategic Impact: Implement procurement strategies, drive innovation, and lead cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.Supplier and Risk Management: Manage key supplier relationships, monitor performance against KPIs, and lead risk and opportunity activities to minimize contractual exposure.Expert Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert for procurement, providing expertise to both internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
