Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager Location: Slough, Berkshire Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and develop the procurement function for a well-established engineering and services business based in Slough. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting operational delivery through effective sourcing of materials, equipment and subcontracted services. You will build strong supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements and identify opportunities to improve value, efficiency and performance across the supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional who enjoys influencing stakeholders and delivering tangible business improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement activities across the business to support operational delivery. Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, ensuring quality, reliability and value. Negotiate commercial agreements and achieve the best possible outcomes. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive supply chain efficiencies. Support supplier onboarding, selection and performance management. Manage supplier issues, disputes and procurement escalations.
