Buying and Partnerships Manager

to take ownership of its wine and spirits category across both retail and eCommerce. This is a unique opportunity to shape product strategy and build impactful supplier partnerships from the ground up.The RoleYou’ll lead the end-to-end buying strategy, combining strong commercial acumen with category insight and trend awareness. This role requires someone with the confidence to negotiate, the curiosity to innovate, and the tenacity to deliver results in a dynamic, startup environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the buying strategy across fine wine and spiritsSource new, innovative, and commercially viable productsBuild and negotiate Joint Business Plans with suppliers and producersOversee pricing, margin, and profitability to maximise performanceDrive category innovation, including branded and co-branded product developmentCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, retail, and ecommerce teamsManage supplier relationships, logistics partners, and inventory performanceMonitor sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and forecastingWhat We’re Looking For7+ years in buying, category management, or commercial roles within wine and spirits or luxury FMCGProven success in supplier negotiation and building high-value partnershipsA deep understanding of the UK and global alcohol marketsExperience in a startup or fast-growing business environmentStrong data-led decision-making skills and commercial awarenessEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate hands-on and strategicallyWhat’s on OfferA highly visible and autonomous role with significant strategic inputThe chance to join a premium brand at an exciting stage of growthHybrid working with an iconic central London office locationCompetitive salary and benefits packageSeniority level
