They have an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join the function.This role will be reporting into the Head of Category Management and looking after some key spend for the business, to name a few: MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend and Utilities, but will consider someone who has a nice broad range of indirect category management.Role and responsibilities:Create strategies through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savingsDevelop group wide category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local officesEngage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledgeBuild relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performanceMonitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedbackBe a Procurement role model by living company values, consistently delivering to the high standards expected, promoting procurement through relationshipsOn top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiencyExperience and requirements:Indirect category experience working for a large complex businesscategories are: Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics and OperationsPrivate sector procurement experience, ideally working for a global businessPrevious experience working on complex global projects, dealing with Tier 1and2 suppliers of significant valuesConfident in engaging and influencing senior level stakeholders, and across various regionsA highly strategic mindset when approaching procurement, suppliers and business needsExcellent communications skills when dealing with contacts in different cultures and countriesAble to adapt in a very fast paced, continuously changing environmentMCIPS qualified, nice to have but not ..... full job details .....
