Responsibilities

Lead the procurement process for assigned indirect categories, from strategy development through to supplier management.

Develop and implement category strategies to deliver cost savings, efficiency improvements, and value creation.

Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favourable commercial and service terms.

Monitor market trends, risks, and innovations relevant to packaging, repair materials, consumables, services, transport, and warehousing.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support plant purchasing using procurement IT systems (JDE / SAP) to enable purchase order approvals, manage the supplier database and administrate pricing controls.

Lead divisional categories for selected category groups at EMEA level.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, mechanical / industrial engineering or supply chain.

5+ years’ experience in procurement or category management, preferably in indirect spend.

Proven track record in negotiating, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

Analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.

Proficiency in procurement systems.
