Procurement Manager

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a leading global consultancy supporting the delivery of major hyperscale data centre projects across the UK, EMEA and APAC. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager to take a client-side lead on the procurement of construction, MEP, equipment and professional services packages. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional with a strong data centre or mission-critical background to join a high-profile team and play a key role in the successful delivery of major international projects. The Role As Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of the procurement process for your allocated packages, from RFP through to contract award. Working alongside delivery partners, specialist contractors and suppliers, you will be responsible for ensuring procurement strategies, tender documentation, commercial evaluations and contract awards meet the client''s programme, commercial and risk requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing procurement strategies, plans and package schedules. Checking RFP documentation, including scope, pricing schedules, evaluation criteria and contract conditions. Reviewing and challenging tender documentation before issue. Attending supplier clarification meetings and managing bidder queries through to close-out. Reviewing bid levelling, normalisation and evaluation scoring.
