Procurement Manager . This is a pivotal role driving smarter, greener, and more socially responsible procurement practices while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.What You’ll Be Doing:Leading and managing procurement activity across the business, embedding sustainability and social value into every decisionOverseeing the Approved Supplier List, contractor vetting, and contract managementDelivering innovative projects to reduce carbon footprint and energy useManaging utility procurement to secure the best possible supply dealsIdentifying and securing external grant funding for procurement and sustainability initiativesProducing clear, data-driven reports for senior leadership on procurement, ESG, and contract performanceBuilding strong relationships with suppliers, consortiums, and strategic partnersWhat We’re Looking For:Membership of a relevant professional body or equivalent qualificationStrong knowledge of procurement legislation, processes, and supplier managementExperience in utility procurement and delivering energy efficiency improvementsAn innovative mindset with the ability to implement new technologies and practicesStrong analytical skills, able to assess cost-benefit and ROI for procurement activitiesExcellent reporting and communication skillsFull UK driving license and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel across the region)Why You’ll Love This Role:Opportunity to make a tangible impact on environmental and social outcomesCompetitive salary and benefits package (including wellbeing benefits)33 days annual leave, rising to 38 with time served (including bank holidays)Hybrid working with flexibility to balance site visits and home workingJoin an organisation with a genuine commitment to sustainability and community impactApply now for a confidential chat about this
