Procurement Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to take responsibility for procurement across a major UK operation. This is a key role for a commercially minded procurement professional with a strong civils, infrastructure, construction or engineering background, who can take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier relationships, contracts and cost performance across a complex operational environment. The Role Reporting to the Head of UK, you will be responsible for: Developing and implementing an effective procurement strategy. Managing key suppliers, vendors and subcontractors. Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers. Negotiating competitive commercial terms and contracts. Reviewing and managing existing supplier agreements. Working closely with Technical, Project, Terminal and operational teams. Assessing procurement and contractual risks. Identifying and delivering long-term cost savings. Managing procurement performance through appropriate KPIs. Ensuring procurement activity meets relevant regulatory and best-practice requirements. Approving purchase orders and coordinating the delivery of goods and services. Reporting procurement performance to senior management. Providing leadership and support to the procurement function.
