As a Procurement Manager, you’ll utilise your Procurement and Supply Chain experience in a leading role across a range of projects on-site at Rosyth, including facilities management initiatives and notable programmes. You will lead and guide a team of PandSC professionals from Assistant Buyer to Senior Buyer, supporting their growth and development. You will develop sourcing strategies with senior stakeholders, negotiate major subcontracts, and cascade key contract terms to mitigate commercial risks while managing people and ensuring compliance.Capture project requirements and build them into the supply chain strategy to meet requisites, maximise performance and reduce risk and complexityLead and manage sourcing and tendering processes in line with project deliverablesDirect, influence, and manage internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of inputs for robust subcontracts and response strategiesSupport supplier due diligence, onboarding, and qualification processes to ensure approved suppliersEstablish supplier performance monitoring and cost-saving initiativesDevelop procurement function capabilities to meet current and future business needsLead a team of Supply Chain personnel and oversee their performance and developmentThis role is full time, 37 hours per week, based at Rosyth with flexible hybrid working. Agile working and flexible patterns of work (including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing) may be available; discuss at interview.Essential Experience
Experienced procurement practitioner with knowledge of strategic procurement techniquesExtensive experience in complex project environmentsExperience with Capex equipment procurement and facilities managementProcurement and Supply Chain activities for Facilities Management (FM), both Hard and Soft FM ServicesProven track record of achieving outstanding supply chain performanceKnowledge of NEC3 contracting terms is highly desirableQualifications
MCIPS qualified, working towards MCIPS, or equivalent professional qualificationDegree level or equivalent, ideally with a manufacturing or engineering backgroundSecurity Clearance
