      <description>Location: Bedford | Salary: 50000.00-50000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.    Summary of the Procurement Manager role  Salary: £50.000 - £55,000  Location: Bedford  Type of Contract: Permanent  Hours: Monday Thursday 8.15am-4.45pm Friday 8.15am-1.45pm  Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager   Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives, project delivery requirements, and growth plans Establish and manage long term supplier and framework agreements Lead supplier rationalisation initiatives and build strategic partnerships Provide early procurement input Support project teams Ensure procurement plans are aligned with project schedules and cash flow requirements Monitor and manage procurement related cost performance, variations, and supplier claims Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with HSQE manager  Requirements for a successful Procurement Manager   Proven experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management within a project-based OEM, engineering, manufacturing, or capital equip...</description>
