Procurement Manager
We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager on behalf of a specialist manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants a broad role with genuine responsibility across purchasing, supplier management, inventory control and operational support.The successful candidate will take ownership of purchasing activities across raw materials, packaging, consumables and services, ensuring stock availability aligns with production and customer demand while maintaining cost efficiency throughout the supply chain.Key Duties:Manage purchasing activities across raw materials, packaging and consumablesBuild and manage supplier relationships, negotiations and performance reviewsMonitor inventory levels and stock valuation reportingLiaise with production and commercial teams regarding demand forecastingCoordinate imported goods and associated documentationManage consignment stock held at customer/distributor locationsCarry out supplier visits and auditsSupport reporting and operational analysis using Excel and ERP systemsEnsure stock storage complies with relevant regulations including COMAH requirementsCandidate Requirements:Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environmentStrong purchasing, procurement or supply chain backgroundInventory and stock control experienceConfident negotiating with suppliersStrong Excel and ..... full job details .....
