Join our client as a Procurement Lead and take charge of managing global procurement activities, focusing on suppliers from China.Responsibilities: Lead commercial management for a defined portfolio of out-of-China suppliers and contract manufacturers. Own pricing, terms, and contract implementation! Run RFx and negotiations to secure competitive pricing and optimise total cost of ownership. Analyse key cost drivers and propose actions to mitigate risks. Be the primary contact for out-of-China suppliers. Build strong relationships aligned with our client''s service, quality, and compliance standards! Review supplier performance across cost, quality, and responsiveness, driving improvements with cross-functional teams. Assess supply chain risks and support dual-sourcing decisions when necessary. Support annual cost-improvement targets by identifying opportunities for value creation! Track and report savings and cost avoidance in collaboration with Finance. Operate within procurement policies to ensure ethical dealings with suppliers. Maintain risk registers covering geopolitical, capacity, and material risks, and support execution of mitigation plans.
