Immediate start Procurement Lead role based in Nottingham. This role is a 6 month contract for a leading environmental services company.

My client is a leading environmental service business based in Nottingham looking for a Procurement Lead.

Description

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support business operations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
• Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or delivery delays.

Profile

You will be an experienced Procurement Lead/Leader, along with:

• Proven experience in procurement within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of procurement policies and relevant industry regulations.
• Proficiency in analysing data and managing budgets.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can commute to Nottingham.
