Procurement Lead

Jackson Hogg Procurement are partnering with a leading organisation in Northumberland on the appointment of a Procurement Lead to join their purchasing team. This is a full time and permanent role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package! Working hours are flexible and hybrid working is on offer with 2 days per week working from home. The Procurement Lead will ideally have a strong background in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services essential to offshore projects. You will ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while complying with industry regulations and company policies. The Role: Maintain supplier relationships to ensure the continued supply of goods and services. Ensure key delivery dates are met/improved to avoid project and asset delays and delivery date information is recorded within the system. Source and qualify new suppliers- carry out competitive sourcing/tendering for projects and assets ensuring all vendors are evaluated via the Company on-boarding process. Negotiate for the best fit and optimum costs commensurate with quality, reliability and delivery. Prepare and implement formal supply agreements.
