Procurement Engineer

Job Title: Procurement Engineer Location: Oxford Contract Length: 12 Month FTC Start Date: ASAP - 37 Hour week Monday - Friday 08.30am - 16.30pm All training will be in the office for the first few weeks and then once complete, the role will migrate over to Hybrid working 2 Days a week Remote Please note that this role does include international travel on occasion. About the Role: You will be responsible for a broad portfolio of globally sourced components, developing and implementing the long-term sourcing strategies This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, with proven experience in defining supply chain strategies. As part of our team, the position offers the right person the autonomy to use their expertise in driving the strategic sourcing direction to ensure that the supply chain is robust and capable of delivering components both competitively and consistently. The position is responsible for collaborating with suppliers globally ensuring design for manufacture and design to cost targets are met, prior to purchasing the newly designed components.
