Procurement Consultant - Public Sector
Your new companyOur client is looking to build a panel of high-quality interim Procurement Consultants to support the delivery of complex public sector procurement programmes. As part of a shift towards a more balanced operating model, they are seeking experienced delivery-focused consultants who can complement their existing senior advisory team. They are seeking hands-on procurement professionals, who can take strategies that have already been developed and drive them through to successful delivery.Your new roleThis opportunity is suited to experienced public sector procurement professionals who combine strong PA23 knowledge, complex procurement delivery experience, and the ability to operate as trusted consultants. The emphasis is on practical delivery capability rather than strategy creation, supporting major public sector organisations through complex, high-value procurement programmes. Predominantly South West based assignments, typically 1 day per week on site, potentially increasing to 2 days depending on client requirements.Operate independently with minimal supervision.Being commercially aware with strong stakeholder management.You will be delivery-focused and comfortable managing day-to-day procurement activity.You will have the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organisation.You will lead and deliver complex, high-value procurements.What you''ll need to succeedMinimum 5 -10 years'' procurement experience.Strong background in public sector ..... full job details .....
