Procurement Centre of Excellence ManagerThe Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager drives continuous improvement takes ownership of the global process and ensures operational and financial efficiency. The role oversees procurement reporting to deliver measurable operational and financial benefits and manage process and systems for third-party supplier due diligence / risk / compliance with comprehensive understanding and ownership of reporting.Responsibilities:Procurement Reporting and Support:Develop and maintain robust procurement reporting systems to track operational and financial performanceGenerate regular and ad hoc reports highlighting procurement achievements, financial benefits, and areas for improvementLead the continued enhancement of the procurement reporting toolkitEnsure data accuracy and transparency in reporting to support strategic decision-makingSet up and manage Procurement Key Project and Pipeline ReviewsCollaborate with finance and operations teams to align reporting metrics with financial plansEnsure the Procurement Spend Cube, ESG, Benefits Tracker and Benefits Reporting are accurately maintained and refreshed monthlyPreparation of all reporting requirements, and specifically support and prepare the monthly regional and global reporting requirements for various stakeholder groups includingRegional Procurement ReviewsRegional Supply Chain Director reportsProcurement Cost Saving ReportsESG and Audit ReportingAnnual ReportOwn Procurement intranet development and maintenance and sharing of information and training materials to support business self-serveLead initiatives to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies associated with procurement compliance / risk management activitiesManage compliance monitoring to ensure in scope third-party suppliers are actively reviewedIdentify non-compliant suppliers and escalate issues as necessary to the Category LeadsMaintain and update supplier compliance documentation and systems for accurate tracking and reportingStakeholder Engagement:Ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt new processes and ways of workingAct as the subject matter expert for procurement tools, processes and reporting, procurement compliance, offering guidance and solutionsTrain and develop operational stakeholders on new or enhanced processes and toolsLead communication and change management of process improvements, compliance updates, and financial impact reports to stakeholders at all levels as per the agreed governance timeframesLead initiatives to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies associated with ProcurementEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectivenessFoster a culture of continuous improvement across teams by providing training and resourcesRequired skills and experience:Understanding of procurement processes and toolsAbility to manage and balance competing multiple priorities and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, cost and employee relationsProject management experience in a global environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsA demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others, by developing working relationships with all levels of the organisationExperience of working in a multi-site manufacturing companyAbility to prioritise and planDegree educated or equivalent - desirableExperience working in a global procurement / supply chain function - desirablePowerBI report creation and maintenance - desirablePrior training experience - desirableWhat we offer:Discretionary Annual BonusUp to 5% matched pension contribution4x annual salary life assurancePersonal medical cover25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysSalary Sacrifice Car SchemeEmployee discounts platformCycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeThis is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week based in our Kidlington office.Essentra plc is a leading global provider of essential components and solutions, focusing on the manufacture and distribution of plastic injection moulded, vinyl dip moulded and metal items.Headquartered in the UK, Essentra''s global network extends to 28 countries worldwide and includes over 3,000 employees, 14 manufacturing facilities, 24 distribution centres and 33 sales and service centres serving c.74,000 customers with a rapid supply of low cost but essential products for a variety of applications in industries such as equipment manufacturing, automotive, fabrication, electronics, medical and renewable energy.At Essentra we are ideally looking for individuals who enjoy working as part of a close team, are passionate about what they do and who strive to make a difference.
