In this role you will work with Procurement team to drive efficiency and deliver cost savings, supplier rationalisation and to work with our Sales team to maintain optimum stock inventory to generate revenue and customer satisfaction.Role: Procurement Buyer Salary: Upon Application Location: Hemel Hempstead Key Responsibilities: Support the P2P process with a team of Procurement buyers.Prepare and raise purchase orders and general stock replenishment.Purchase goods, materials and components in line with customer demand.Ensure stocking levels are at the optimum levels.Resolve supplier quality material issues identified in warehouse (documentation and quality).Work with sales to provide general updates/changes to the open purchase orders.Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.Ensure that professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.Ensure compliance guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.Required Skills and Experience for the role: Please note you must hold the rights to live and work in the UK upon application.
