Introduction - Procurement Buyer We are looking for a Procurement Buyer to support a large-scale operation that supply leading retailers and food service brands. This role plays a key part in driving value and efficiency across indirect procurement.Role Overview:Location: BirminghamHours: Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home) - Monday to Friday, 9-5 with flexibility to manage your own schedulePackage: Up to £45,000 pa DOE + Car allowanceIndustry: Food Manufacturing / ProcurementWhat You''ll Be Doing:Supporting procurement activity across indirect categories including IT, HR, and factory servicesAssisting in the preparation and delivery of tenders, RFIs, and RFQsBuilding and managing supplier relationships, including sourcing new partnersSupporting negotiations to drive cost savings and valueHelping implement supplier agreements and category strategiesCollaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement objectives are metMain Skills Needed:Previous experience in procurement (buyer, coordinator, assistant or similar)Exposure to supplier management, negotiations, and tender processesUnderstanding of indirect procurement categories (or transferable direct procurement experience)Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders and suppliersAmbition to develop within a fast-paced, commercial environmentMCIPS qualification (or working towards) is advantageous but not essentialWhat''s in It for You:Clear progression opportunities within a ..... full job details .....
