Procurement Assistant

I am pleased to be working with a market-leading service provider, as they look for a procurement assistant to join their busy team! This is a full-time, permanent role and is located in Skelmersdale.Benefits:Salary - £25,000 to £26,000Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (No weekends!)Holidays - 20 days, plus 8 Bank Holidays. They will understand supplier needs and be able to provide solutions to issues that may arise. A driving licence is required for this role as regular visits to suppliers will take place.Day-to-Day of the Role:Respond to supplier enquiries professionally and promptly, processing orders and managing issues as and whenMake comparisons on prices and quality from approved suppliersMaintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract filesLiaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, pricing, and queriesSpecification:Previous experience within a similar procurement, supply chain or purchase role is preferredPrevious experience working within a busy office environment as part of a team is essentialA clear communicator, both written and verbalExperience working with MS Office (including ..... full job details .....
