Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Assistant to join a large-scale enterprise system transformation programme within a complex, fast-moving organisation. This role will suit someone who enjoys working at the heart of change - supporting procurement activity, analysing spend, improving processes and helping stakeholders transition to new systems and ways of working.Your new role Working closely with a central programme team and senior procurement stakeholders, you will play a key part in ensuring procurement activity is efficient, compliant and aligned to new systems and best practice. You will be involved in the end-to-end procurement life cycle, data and reporting, and supporting users through a major system change.Your duties will include but not limited to:Supporting procurement activity across a large transformation programmeAnalysing spend data to support cost control and informed decision-makingPreparing tender and mini-competition documentation and supporting contract set-upAssisting with the creation and maintenance of supplier cataloguesGathering and coordinating commercial, technical and legal informationWorking with data teams to support procurement data migrationSupporting users transitioning from Legacy finance systems to a new platformEnsuring adherence to procurement policies, governance and controlsContributing to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiativesWhat you''ll need to succeed Recent experience ..... full job details .....
