Procurement Assistant / Buyer – Construction

We are a small but growing construction company specialising in new-build developments, looking for a proactive Procurement Assistant / Buyer to join our team.

What you’ll do:
•    Source and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors
•    Assist site engineers with drawings, measurements, project coordination and progress updates
•    Support procurement, tendering and supplier enquiries
•    Liaise with consultants, suppliers and external partners

What we’re looking for:
•    Knowledge of construction and building materials
•    Confident communicator who is comfortable speaking to suppliers, subcontractors and other external contacts by phone
•    Proactive, organised and able to work to deadlines
•    Willing to learn and develop
•    Good attention to detail and a practical approach

This role would be ideal for someone with a QS, engineering or construction background who is at entry level and looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills and progress their career in the construction industry.
