Procurement Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Finance Analyst to join a leading aerospace and defence organisation supporting its Rotary Wing Enterprise (RWE) Supply Chain team.This role will play a key part in establishing a Procurement Finance Analyst capability in the UK, working closely with Procurement and Supplier Management teams to evaluate supplier proposals, identify cost efficiencies and support commercial negotiations.The successful candidate will act as the primary financial interface during contract acquisitions, conducting detailed cost and price analysis to establish fair and reasonable pricing positions. Using market intelligence, cost modelling and financial analysis, you will support both commercial and government procurement activities while driving best value across the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cost and pricing analysis of supplier proposals and help establish the Procurement Finance Analyst capability within the UK business.Develop macro and microeconomic metrics across the supply chain, including monitoring market indices, foreign exchange movements and legislative impacts.Gather, analyse and interpret supplier financial data to identify performance trends and cost-saving opportunities.Assess complex supplier proposals to determine fair and reasonable pricing positions.Conduct detailed cost and price analysis using statistical methods, market intelligence and parametric cost models.Develop and substantiate cost ..... full job details .....
