Procurement & Contract Manager
Essential criteria
Knowledge and experience of Local Authority Procurement , including reporting to Committee on award of contract
Track record of successful contract management with a range of existing suppliers
Subject matter expert in tenanted fixed service charges including formerly sheltered housing schemes, able to calculate and forecast future expenditure in line with best practice.
Able to estimate service charges for new build schemes within and outside of the HRA
Able to build rapport and respond to Member Enquiries and first stage complaints from residents.
Knowledge of health & safety relating to contracts
Able to work at pace on a range of priorities to fulfill requirements.
Desirable criteria
Experience of setting up and coaching a group of engaged residents to oversee grounds maintenance contracts.
Knowledge of using NEC and Housemark photobook IT software systems
