About the Role

As a Procurement Administrator based in Bodmin, you will deliver administrative and operational support for procurement activities across a civil engineering contractor. This temporary contract runs until April 2027, offering 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £13.45 per hour. Initial training is office-based, with hybrid working available thereafter. Your duties include managing daily procurement administration, liaising with suppliers, sourcing quotations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role. You will support multiple business areas, maintaining efficient and compliant procurement processes. Are you an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and seeking a new role to start immedately.
We are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to join a busy Civils Contractor based in Bodmin.
The Role
You will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to help deliver efficient and compliant procurement activity across multiple business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing day-to-day procurement administration and processes
• Liaising with suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and frameworks
• Sourcing quotations and processing purchase orders
• Managing the central inbox &  Administration 
• Supporting accurate data management and reporting activities
What we’re looking for:
• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Maths) or equivalent
• Office Administration experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Strong organisational and communication skills
