My client, a leading UK manufacturer, are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join their Operations team.

This role will report to the Purchasing Supervisor, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the procurement function runs smoothly, helping to maintain stock availability, manage supplier relationships, and secure goods at the right price.

Role and Responsibility
- Raise and process purchase orders, including drop shipments
- Place orders with subcontract manufacturers, liaising to confirm specifications
- Negotiate and follow up on order delivery dates, updating the ERP system
- Maintain correct stock levels in the right locations
- Respond promptly and accurately to internal enquiries
- Request and compare supplier pricing
- Prepare reports and supporting documents for supplier meetings
Essential skills
- Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing support role
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to build and maintain supplier relationships
- Comfortable working with ERP systems
