We are partnering with an established manufacturing site in High Peak to find a data driven Junior Process Engineer to work directly alongside the Site Manager. This is not a role where you will be stuck in a back office doing data entry, you will actively map processes, eliminate line bottlenecks and help drive efficiency across the factory floor. What you will be doing:Data and Analytics: Collecting and visualising manufacturing performance data (OEE, downtime, line throughput) using MS Excel to pinpoint operational gaps.Process Standardisation: Creating, updating and the roll out of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Single Point Lessons across engineering teams.Line Auditing: Conducting real time floor audits on machinery settings against quality and safety standards.Root Cause Analysis: Participating in active problem solving sessions to tackle quality, hygiene and efficiency bottlenecks.
