What you''ll do:

• Maintain and improve the safety management system (COMAH, REACH, ISO).

• Lead HAZOPs, plant modifications, and process safety improvements.

• Commission new or modified plant, ensuring compliance and operational reliability.

• Support new process introductions, training operators for safe operation.

• Work closely with HSE, auditors, contractors, and plant teams.

Who we''re looking for:

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (Chartered preferred).

• 5-10 years'' experience in high-hazard chemical or heavy industry.

• Strong technical knowledge of process safety and regulatory requirements.

• Confident communicator from shop floor to senior management.

• Skilled at balancing day-to-day troubleshooting with long-term improvement.

This is a senior, hands-on role with wide responsibility for keeping a multi-million-pound plant safe and compliant.
