Process Optimisation Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Process Optimisation Technician to join our Manchester Dairy. The purpose of the role is to provide technical expertise to support and optimise value creation, working within the Muller values and standards whilst striving to continuously improve. Contract - Permanent / Full Time Location - Manchester Shift Pattern - Monday - Friday - 7am start time The ideal candidate will have strong process background within a food manufacturing environment, a high level problem solving capability, the ability to process map and can collaboratively work with other internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities of a Process Optimisation Technician will include: Constant recognition that the value creation is "level 1" - First line support primary purpose is to support the front line teams. Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems. Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to "100 year fix" in real time. Process optimisation capability - to include process mapping. Basic level understanding of PLC and logic fault finding skills. Maintenance excellence / Asset care. Uses PMS to support prioritisation, problem solving and team engagement. Displays ownership by creating and delivering end to end site wastage initiatives. Continuous transfer of knowledge and best practice. Work with engineering and technicians to observe, recognise and report on process performance and improvement.
