We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Process Operator to join United Utilities team at the Wastewater Treatment Works in Ingleton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the wastewater treatment processes run smoothly and effectively, safeguarding the environment and the health of our communities Details: Client: United Utilities Pay Rate: £16.78 per hour PAYE Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00, overtime available at time and a half or double time Location: Hyde WWTW (SK14) Contract: 6 months, with potential to become permanent Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor Wastewater Treatment assets to meet regulatory and customer service standards. Undertake sampling, readings, analysis, and cleaning activities (UWWTD, MCERTS). Record and report operational performance data accurately and on time. Identify poor performance and implement corrective actions within Health and Safety guidelines. Escalate performance or regulatory risks to the Process Controller. Complete scheduled operational and maintenance tasks, including reactive work orders. Maintain technical competence to support local performance improvements. Collaborate with Integrated Planning Teams and Field Service Engineers. Use corporate systems to ..... full job details .....
