Process Operator

We are currently recruiting for a leading and prestigious company based in Bury St Edmunds who work with the livestock farm industry, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Process Operator to start asap. Permanent role Very competitive salary offered. Hours 42 hours per week (on a 12hr continental shift pattern covering 7 days a week). The production operative reports directly to the shift Supervisor and provides support on a day-to-day basis by ensuring management systems are complied with particularly in the key areas of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment. Purpose of the role and responsibilities. To contribute to the manufacturing output by running the blend and press plants. To monitor and maintain quality standards at optimum output. To ensure that safe working practices are implemented. To utilise plant to achieve efficient use of resources. To attend to the data transfer required for OEE, SAP and other production records. To keep the mill clean and tidy and adopt good 5S working practices. Be proactive in raising concerns. Working as part of the Mill Shift Production team, working across all production disciplines. To undertake maintenance tasks within specified level of competence. Ensure all activities are within Health and Safety Regulations and Environmental Procedures.
