Process Operator (Fermentation Manufacturing) Location: Knowsley, L34 Salary: 32,000- 40,000 + shift premium (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing manufacturing business, is looking to recruit Process Operators to join their production team in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating advanced fermentation and process manufacturing equipment. Due to the nature of the operation, these roles may involve shift working, including nights and weekends, with an additional shift premium paid on top of the base salary. Key Responsibilities Operating large-scale fermentation and process equipment. Preparing, measuring and transferring raw materials and process feeds. Monitoring production processes, including pumps, valves, vessels, temperatures and pressures. Operating automated process control systems. Collecting process samples and accurately recording production data. Carrying out cleaning and equipment preparation activities, including CIP (Clean-In-Place) operations. Identifying and reporting process deviations and equipment issues. Working closely with engineering, production and technical teams. Maintaining high standards of health, safety, hygiene and manufacturing practice. About You Previous fermentation experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
