      <description>Location: Surrey | Salary: &amp;pound;42000 - &amp;pound;50000/annum Plus Package | Type: Permanent | I''m currently working with a food manufacturer in Surrey who are going through a period of growth and investment, particularly across their chilled / high-care operation. As a result, they''re looking to bring in a Process Manager to support the site and help tighten things up from a process and performance point of view.  This isn''t a "sit behind a desk" role they''re looking for someone who''s comfortable being on the factory floor, understanding where things are slowing down and actually doing something about it. You''ll be involved in trials, first production and any problem-solving that comes with taking products from kitchen to line.  A big part of the job is understanding where things can go wrong during scale-up and putting the right controls and improvements in place early on. You''ll be working closely with NPD, Technical and Production teams to make sure launches land properly, rather than becoming ongoing firefighting exercises.  Chilled experience is preferred but the key thing is that you''ve worked in a high-care environment and understand retailer expectations.
