Process Engineer

Process Engineer Yolk Recruitment is supporting the recruitment of an experienced Process Engineer to join a growing Engineering team based in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with experience in manufacturing processes, metallurgy, materials, and continuous improvement to play a key role in developing robust production processes, improving quality, and supporting the manufacture of complex high-performance components.Working within a specialist casting environment, this role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to process optimisation, root cause analysis, qualification activities, and engineering improvement projects while working closely with production teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.The successful candidate will support metallurgical process development, investigate manufacturing issues, drive continuous improvement, and deliver cost-effective production solutions.Key responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain robust process engineering activities across the casting operation.Provide technical support to production teams to ensure high-quality castings are produced to customer specifications.Develop and qualify stable, repeatable manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.Review product designs and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.Prepare customer qualification reports and technical documentation.Coordinate engineering activities relating to ..... full job details .....
