Process Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Northumberland Salary: Competitive depending on experience Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (early Friday finish) Benefits: 25 days holiday + 1 special day Healthcare cash plan Company share scheme Cycle to work scheme As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and optimising manufacturing processes for high-precision microelectronic products. This varied position offers exposure to the entire product lifecycle from new product introduction (NPI) to supporting volume production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process transitions, troubleshoot issues, and drive performance improvements across the shop floor. Key responsibilities include: Providing day-to-day engineering support to production operations Troubleshooting and resolving equipment and process-related issues Commissioning and qualifying new manufacturing equipment Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as SOPs, PFMEAs, and inspection standards Supporting the transition of products from NPI to full-scale production Identifying and implementing opportunities for yield improvement and efficiency gains Liaising with customers and suppliers, which may include occasional travel abroad Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations Skills and Experience: Essential: Degree/HNC in Engineering or relevant equivalent experience Strong problem-solving and analytical skills ..... full job details .....
