Process Engineer
Energis is recruiting for a Process Engineer on behalf of our manufacturing client based in North Down . This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, reducing waste, and maintaining exceptional quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for continuous improvement, and ideally experience within the plastics or a related manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with maintenance and tooling teams to optimise equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications where appropriate. Work closely with the Quality team to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards while maintaining strict manufacturing tolerances. Deliver training and support to production teams on lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Partner with RandD, Engineering, and Production teams to support new product introduction, process validation, and ongoing manufacturing improvements. Essential Criteria Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
