Process Engineer

Process Engineer Water Treatment / Energy Sector-

Location: West Midlands/hybrid 2 days office-

Salary:40-55k DOE + bens

Able Consult is recruiting a skilled Process Engineer for a leading engineering company specializing in water treatment systems for the energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, and municipal water projects across the UK and internationally.-

You will be involved in process design, commissioning, and technical support for advanced pure water treatment technologies such as Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ion Exchange, and Electro deionisation (EDI).-

Key Responsibilities-

• Design and-optimize-water treatment processes using industry standard tools.-
• Produce P&IDs, PFDs, mass balances, and functional design specifications.-
• Support commissioning engineers and troubleshoot process issues on site.-
• Collaborate with-multi disciplinary-teams and-participate-in HAZOP reviews.-
• Provide technical input for operation and maintenance manuals and customer training.-

What you will have-

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).-
• Minimum 1 year experience in pure water processes within energy markets.-
• Strong understanding of engineering calculations and process design principles.-
• Proficiency-in MS Office; AutoCAD experience desirable.-
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.-
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.-
