This role is suited to a hands-on engineer with strong CNC turning and CAD/CAM experience who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, improving processes and supporting production teams. Essential Experience Minimum 5 years'' experience in a precision machining or metal-cutting manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC Turning processes. CAD/CAM programming experience. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Proven experience implementing and improving manufacturing processes. Experience supporting production with tooling, programming and process optimisation. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and Continuous Improvement techniques. Experience investigating quality issues, NCRs and implementing corrective actions. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards. Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
