Process Development TechnologistLocation: StevenageSalary: £45,000 - £55,000Hours: Full-timeAre you passionate about food innovation and ready to turn great ideas into real, scalable products? We’re working with a leading food manufacturer to find a talented Process Technologist to help bridge the gap between the development kitchen and the factory floor. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll play a key part in bringing new products to life—ensuring they meet high technical and quality standards as they move from concept to launch. You will need to be technically competent and adept at managing projects, able to Define, Detail and Coordinate Product Launch and run real time Trial Coordination.What You''ll Be Doing

Leading the scale-up of new products from kitchen to full-scale factory productionOrganising and running factory trials for NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development) projectsDriving continuous improvement and value engineering to enhance product quality and efficiencyWorking with cross-functional teams including Technical, Operations, and Engineering to ensure smooth implementation of changesSupporting the introduction of new technologies aligned with the Product Development StrategyWhat’s On Offer

A degree in Food Science or a similar technical fieldPrevious experience in food manufacturing (FMCG), ideally in a process, development, or NPD-focused roleUnderstanding of key food production methods such as extrusion, frying, baking, sheeting, and flavouringStrong problem-solving abilities and a drive for continuous improvementA genuine enthusiasm for food, innovation, and qualityReady to Help Shape the Future of Food?
